Digby and his siblings were found abandoned outside a church in Cyprus. Though they were understandably confused, their good condition and shiny coats made it clear they’d previously been cared for.

They hadn’t been living rough on the streets — sadly, the churchyard is a common dumping site for puppies.

From the very beginning, Digby stood out as the confident one of the group. He’s curious about everything and everyone, always eager to explore new surroundings and make friends with both people and dogs.

His confidence helps reassure his siblings, and even when faced with something unfamiliar, it doesn’t take him long to find his feet. He takes life in his stride with a furiously wagging tail and an endlessly wiggly bum!

Digby’s personality is a wonderful mix of playful and affectionate. He adores his toys, especially anything that crinkles or rolls, and given the chance, he’ll happily steal your water bottle and parade it around like his most prized possession.

He loves to run about, chase his siblings, and steal their toys, but once he’s had his fun, he’s just as happy to curl up for cuddles. He’s food-motivated and learns quickly when rewarded with treats, making training both fun and easy.

Digby is a sociable, people-focused pup who bonds quickly and thrives on attention. Any initial shyness when meeting someone new disappears within moments, and soon he’s sidling up for strokes and fuss.

His good nature and trusting temperament make him a wonderful companion in the making — perfect for a family or anyone looking for a cheerful, affectionate friend.

He gets on beautifully with other dogs and enjoys canine company, though he’s confident enough to live as the only dog provided he has plenty of human interaction and companionship.

We think Digby would suit a variety of homes thanks to his adaptable nature. He could manage city life as long as he gets regular exercise, company, and ideally, access to a secure garden to play in. He’d be equally content in a quieter environment.

What matters most to him is being included — he’s a social little dog who loves to be part of the action.

Digby is bright, loving, and full of character. He’s an absolute joy to be around, and wherever he goes, he’s sure to be adored.
