Since then, he has been staying in a small shelter, sharing the space with several dogs and a cat.
This friendly little lad has made remarkable progress since his rescue. Despite his challenging past, Dodo is a happy and sociable dog who enjoys the company of humans and other animals.

He particularly loves cuddles, evidenced by his constantly wagging tail. Dodo is known for his energetic nature and delights in socializing with his doggie mates, showcasing a zest for life.
Dodo’s love for companionship extends to his preference for being included in all activities around him. Although he settles nicely overnight, he doesn’t cope well with solitude and may exhibit vocalizations when left alone, making it an area for potential improvement.
Nevertheless, he is good around dogs and currently cohabitates with dogs of similar size in the shelter. Furthermore, he has proven to be compatible with cats, making him suitable for a home with feline friends.

Walking nicely on the lead, being house trained, and having occasional accidents, Dodo showcases positive behaviour traits.
However, prospective adopters should be aware that he would thrive best in a family where he is not left alone for extended periods and where there is time dedicated to his training. Families with older, dog-savvy children will be considered suitable for Dodo.
Dodo’s potential for harmonious living extends to the possibility of cohabitation with another friendly and well-balanced dog or dogs. Additionally, he could adapt to living with cats.

Like all rescue dogs, Dodo requires time, patience, love, and commitment from his adoptive family to help him become a happy, well-balanced dog.
Prospective adopters with experience in handling rescue dogs are preferred, and first-time owners are discouraged. Dodo is currently in Hungary but can travel to the UK once the right family is found.
He comes fully equipped, having been neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas and ticks. His adoption is subject to a home check and an adoption fee, with full responsible breeder information provided.
