Gretta is at foster home in the UK between Ruthin & Corwen – LL21 9SA since July 2021. Was already rehomed but in a month rejected and returned without any fault from her side. We will be happy to give foster contacts after positive consideration for her adoption.

This is what her foster says about Gretta: Gretta is genuinely one of the cleverest dogs you will ever meet (come meet her and see for yourself!). She is loyal, incredibly soft and cuddly and gets along with everyone.

Gretta weighs 19kg (tall and slim). She will sit, lay down, come and is super eager to please in general. She is only 20 months old so still very excitable. Her only downfall is that she’s way too happy with herself at times, so not suited to really small children that she could knock into things. She also chases the cat if she runs.

We have just started training on the lead.. she pulls well, like a husky at the moment – she doesn’t know where we’re going but she sure wants to get there! Unless there are cocktail sausages in my pocket- then she’s right by my side the whole time. Slow but steady progress and I’m really confident she will be a model dog soon enough.

Gretta is a foodie, so training all round is coming on ‘a treat’, though she looks to you for affection based reward and loves a good tummy rub when she’s done great!

Gretta is kind, gentle and lots of fun. She had an injured leg with a big bill, so was handed back in for the care she needed. As you can see – she is now fully healed and waiting to be loved.

Gretta has no known health issues; neutered. Full vaccination pack (rabies, DHLPP), provided worms treatment, microchipped.

Paws Help
Paws Help

Paws Help is a foster-based British rescue (Registered Charity Number 1209924) dedicated to helping UK-surrendered dogs, as well as dogs from the war-torn Ukraine and some Eastern European countries. We rehome dogs across Britain, giving every dog the chance of a safe and loving future.

All funds received by Paws Help, including adoption fees, go directly towards the rescue and care of dogs in need. No admin costs, no salaries are taken by our team, as the charity is staffed entirely by volunteers.

All dogs receive a health check, are neutered (age permitting), microchipped, vaccinated, and—if coming from overseas—tested for C. Brucella before travel. We provide Rescue Back-Up (RBU), post-adoption support, and 4 weeks of free insurance with every adoption.

An adoption fee and home check apply.

Most dogs are offered under a foster-to-adopt arrangement—a trial period of up to two weeks—so there is no need to pay the full adoption fee upfront.
