Jack is a 3 year old West Highland White Terrier who was living with a family since a puppy. A cousin came around and was rough with him and pulled his fur. Since then Jack was nervous of the daughter in the house, barking and growling, but nothing further. The mother didn’t know how to remedy the situation. Jack has moved into foster with Lyn and her pack of Westies and is doing just fine. His issues are with children and strangers but it is just nerves not aggression. He enjoys his walks and is confident stepping out, but a little nervous of larger dogs .. the pack is telling him to be ‘chilled’! OK OK .. you can see in the pictures he is having lessons in being chilled! Jack will try and get on the sofa, but will get off when told. He has lived successfully with a rabbit and a cat. Whimpers a bit in the car; and is fine being left and his housetraining is fine. Jack is newly neutered and vaccinated.

Jack is a little nervous by nature and needs a considerate, but confident home for him to settle in. We wouldn’t home him with children due to his ordeal, but he could move in with another dog; cat or small furry no problems! Jack is fostered in Leicestershire.
