Kobi adores attention from people and his favourite thing in the world is a bum scratch where he demonstrates the famous Akita lean on his human friend. Kobi walks well on the lead but he is a big lad and can be quite strong when he wants to be, he is used to wearing a head collar which he is fine with and his new owners may find this useful too.
Kobi does enjoy playtime which he does in true Akita fashion …. when he can be bothered to of course! If you throw the ball, don’t expect Kobi to fetch it back for you. He loves to travel in the car and is happy to visit the vets.
As Kobi has come to us as a stray he can only be rehomed with older, large breed aware children. Any rehomings with female canine companions will be subject to successful introductions. Kobi is not cat tested.
