Lur is a 12 year old English Setter. He was taken to the vet in Burgos, Spain because he was old and his hunter owner decided he was no good any longer. The vet refused to do it and Rescate Perrines stepped in to help him. He’s a lovely old thing, he’s good with other dogs, people and children. He’s quite quiet as you’d expect from an older dog but if he finds a friend willing to play he’s happy to play still.

He’s a big English Setter and has a nice gait and he doesn’t pull much on the lead. It would be wonderful to get him into a retirement home as soon as possible. Poor thing will have spent most of his life in a cage and with scant attention from his hunter owner.
