Matty is a 10 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier that came to us as a stray, and we rehomed him just before Christmas, but unfortunately his owner died recently and there was no one that could care for him, so he had to come back to us. He is a typical Staffordshire Bull Terrier in that he loves attention! Matty is looking for a home where he can potter around the garden and go for walks with his new owner. Please don’t be put off by his age he is still very active and loves going out for walks and playing with his toys – especially tug. He walks well on the lead, and is housetrained – what more could you want! Matty gets on well with other dogs. Matty went home with a carer for a night, and he settled in very well and it was as if he had always been there!

Matty can live with older children, 14 and upwards, as he has never been around them and it would be unfair to introduce them to him at this late stage of his life – he doesn’t want to be pulled around! Matty is castrated, fully vaccinated and will be vet checked before he goes home. Please ask about his older nag, as he deserves a loving home.
