Old Boy was put out onto the streets after many years living in a school yard where he was taken care of by the teachers and pupils. Then the school director thought it was time they had to leave and thinking it would teach the pupils humanity, the dog catcher was called and he ended up in shelter. The children were devastated because even on school holidays they went to feed Old Boy and the other dogs that were there with them, they were in there way learning how to treat animals and be kind to them. As soon as it was known the dog catchers were called action was taken to get Old Boy and the others into shelter.

Old Boy only has the use of three of his legs. He broke one of his back legs many years ago and it was never treated but he gets a round quite well on his other three. Time and patience is needed with Old boy, he is not as trusting as the others though has shown no signs of aggression either, he is just a little unsure when first meeting people, but once he lets you get to know him, he is friendly and trustful.
Old Boy is fully vaccinated, neutered, chipped and has his own pass port.
