Otis is a 3 year old male Coonhound. He needs a large breed experienced home. He’s quite a nervous boy (as so many lockdown dogs are) and will need someone to build his confidence in the right way.

Otis’s lived with a toddler with no issues so a home with dog-savvy, respectful children would be considered.
Otis’s currently living with a family member due to circumstances and is fine with her dog. He’s a definite no to cats.
On walks he will lunge and bark at unknown people and dogs so needs someone to work with him on this. It’s his way of getting them to stay away as he’s nervous.
At his assessment he did the same to me but after a little while was happy for me to fuss with him, walk him and give him treats. He can be strong on his lead but walks well on a head collar.
Otis is fine to be left for a few hours. He’s chipped but not yet neutered and his vaccinations are out of date but we have asked for these to be restarted.
Otis is going to make the most amazing dog for the right family. Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to us in South Yorkshire.
As always we require everyone in the family and any children who are regularly going to be in contact with the dog to attend the meet.
Our usual process is that you will need to come and meet the dog and that adoption is then done on a second meet.
