Par – 4 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Par is a 4 year old male black coloured Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is very quiet, gentle and shy and has very little confidence due to his past experiences. However he is very affectionate and craves love and attention. He really requires a peaceful gentle home where he can continue to rebuild his confidence and trust in people.

This dog that is in our care requires a home that is prepared to give that “little bit extra” in order to take on their new hairy friend. They have not only come out of the stray pound moments before death but unfortunately, through no fault of their own, have received treatment from their previous owners, that has resulted in them having a range of either physiological or behavioural traits, as well.

GREAT NEWS! This Dog Has Now Been Rehomed
Thanks to good people like yourself who use dogsblog.com on a daily basis, this dog has now found a new, permanent loving home. There are more dogs still looking though…

Allow us to find your new PERFECT canine friend with our dogsblog.com matchmaker service. Enter your details below to receive a tailored, hand-picked list of available dogs for adoption…

To this end this dog has been receiving one to one counselling and gentle training in order for them to rebuild their confidence and be able to recover from their past ordeals, at a specialist training centre. We are very happy to say that this dog has now completed their course and are ready to move on and find their special home. Because of their past, unless otherwise stated, each of these lovely lads and lasses will need to find homes without any other animals, no children under 12, and homes who have had experience of owning dogs previously.

Any potential adopter must also be prepared to visit the training centre and undergo an assessment with the dog before the adoption takes place, and then revisit the centre 1 week after the adoption for a further assessment. Any potential adopter must be prepared to continue with any ongoing training as recommended by the training centre. Of course both the charity and the training centre will provide all the new owners with any support that they may need.
