She went to a private shelter where there was no cruelty but she had to live outside in all weathers. Her ears look like they have been nibbled or cut which gives her the unique Bear look she has, she was extremely under socialised, before she came to her fosterer she had only ever seen 3 people in her whole 3 years of life, the consequence of this being that she is very shy.

She also had to be in an area in the private shelter without other dogs as she was very picked on. She is now with a fosterer who has 3 other dogs and has other dogs regularly to the house and phoebe gets along very well with them, in fact the more she settles she is now beginning to play with them. As a human you have to work to gain her trust but when you do she is loving and funny and loyal.

She doesn’t wag her tail she wiggles her whole body and she does a little happy dance. She will be better suited to a home with children over 10 years and no cats. She loves her walks and will jump into the car and travels well, she is small Spaniel sized.
