Poor Reginald was thrown out of his home and left to fend for himself at one of the coldest times of the year. How worried he must have been to have nowhere to go, nowhere to get food and nowhere to sleep or be warm….yet he still loves everyone! Reginald, aged 3-4 years old, is keen to meet and greet everyone and loves any attention you can give him. He is a typical wriggly, wiggly Staffie and is always ready for a game or a walk. He is a calm, steady boy though and if all the whole kennel of dogs were barking, dear Reggie would be the only one who wouldn’t be, he’s such a good boy, bless his heart. He loves a good run in our enclosure and it’s a real pleasure to see him happy. Reggie is also very good at basic commands and can do lots…he will even sit in his bed if you ask him. He has so been someone’s dog, poor boy. He is also good on his lead and loves a bath!

We’re all trying to do everything we can to get him find a loving, forever home as soon as possible. But unfortunately we can’t tell him, we can’t help him understand that the kennel won’t be his home forever, that he won’t feel desperately lonely… forever. He is such a lovely boy and, not that it matters to us, he looks to be a pure bred, old-fashioned Staffie. He should be far chunkier than he is as, in the flesh so to speak, he is really quite thin, poor boy, but we are remedying that of course!
Reginald has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and can be rehomed outside of the county subject to a successful homecheck. Reginald is fine with other dogs, and could live with older children.
Reginald didn’t ask to be abandoned, none of them do. He didn’t ask to be so unlucky as to have an owner who didn’t care about him, or whether he lived or died in fact, that’s the harsh reality of some poor dogs’ lives. BUT, he did survive being abandoned and his life has taken a very big turn for the better. Can you help us show Reginald what a dog’s life really should be like, full of love and fun and companionship? We really hope so, thank you.
