Rex is a 6 year old male Terrier Cross. He was rescued from one of the hated kill shelters in Romania.

Rex almost begged our rescuer to take him by placing his paw on the metal bars and not moving the whole time she was there!

We don’t know his life before the shelter but we suspect he may have belonged to someone as he is not afraid of humans.

Rex was probably thrown away on the streets and caught by the dogcatcher or handed into the kill shelter by his owner. Sadly Rex’s adoption fell through and he has had to go to our kennels in Wiltshire.

Rex hates it there and cries when we take him back to his run. Rex has been a street dog for some time so he is very possessive of food.

Rex does need a family with dog experience to slowly reassure him that his food will not run out. He loves going for walks and is a happy little chap. We feel so sorry for him, especially in this damp weather.
