Rita is a female Staffordshire bull terrier of approx 2 to 3 years of age. Our Rita is one very lucky girl who surly has a angle looking after her, after a road traffic accident she was found and taken to the local pound, they treated her wounds but felt as a rather plain looking brindle Staffordshire Bull terrier she would not be wanted and the best thing for her would be to put her to sleep. For Rita though we saw past her breed and felt she deserved at least a chance of happiness and so she came into our care.

Rita has recovered from her RTA and is now a bubbly young girl with a huge amount of potential but sadly she is overlooked, mainly because of her breed and colouring but also because she is so excited to come out of her kennel and show people just how much love she has to give she is being overlooked. Take her for a walk in the woods and let her initial energy wear of and she is just so wonderful, with a passion for life and a even greater passion for people she just loves everyone and everyone gets the Rita greet. She is looking for a active home and would excel at something like agility, she would not suit a home with very small children as she would be sure to knock them over, but would suit older children, she loves playing fetch and is responsive to a treat or two. Rita would dearly love a home to call her own .
If Rita could have one wish it would be not to be judged by her breed, she would like people to see past the staffy label and see the real Rita. Kind ,loving , loyal and brave. Rita doesn’t ask for much, just a kind word a comfy bed and a good walk is all it would take to make her dreams come true. Do consider our Rita and prove to us we were right in that there is a home out there for our Rita.
