Snipe is a 11 year old female English Springer Spaniel. Snipe is a ex working dog, retired not long ago but not willingly! Don’t let his age fool you.he is as active as my youngest Springer who’s 4! Snipe has learnt while in foster that there’s more to life than working. He loves his forest walks and can easily do 2-3 hours. He also now loves to chill out and relax. He’s not a overly cuddly boy but does like to know you are near. He will let you know when he wants a cuddle. He is house trained and well mannered indoors. Will sit, wait, lie and give paw. His recall is good, although does get carried away when his nose is on the ground but never goes far away.

He is fine with being left for a few hours and can be a only dog or with another. He currently lives with my 6 springer boys and is fine. He does need someone who is willing to tell him they’re the boss as he will try to push the boundaries at first! He will easily chase cats and small furries due to his working background. I’ve said no livestock but only as I haven’t been able to test him with them,although we came across horses the other day and he wasn’t bothered.
He is very lively and bouncy so would say no young children. He does take a while to settle to new things so you must be patient. Whoever gets this boy will be incredibly lucky.he is a loyal dog and will make someone a great companion.if timing was different he would be staying with me.
