Timber is a male sable short coat German Shepherd aged 16 months. He is fine around other dogs and has previously lived with a cat and young children. We would only re-home him to families with children over 5 years. He has come into the rescue due to a change in the previous owners circumstances. He clearly had a nice home as he is in good condition and has lots of good training already in place. He is a very friendly, affectionate and happy youngster; someone described him as a ‘cuddle bum’ which is really quite appropriate!

Timber is fully housetrained and travels well in the car. He is well trained and knows most of the basic commands. He is a little excitable when we first get him out of his kennel but that is understandable given the environment in which he finds himself, he does quickly calm down and is generally good on lead. He likes to play with toys and balls and he is very gentle when he accepts a treat. Timber will be an ideal companion in most home environments, if you are looking for a nice youngster, Timber really does fit the bill!
