Timmy was found abandoned and taken to a shelter in Cyprus but he did not cope at all well in the noisy shelter environment. He was very nervous and fearful of all the staff at the shelter and so we suspected that he had not been treated well in the past.

We took the decision to take Timmy out of the shelter and fly him to a foster home in the UK whilst we wait for the special family to see his potential and worth and offer him a safe and secure, loving forever home where he can thrive.
Timmy gets on with other dogs, so he could live with a resident dog; this may even help his confidence, but it isn’t essential as he could live as an only dog. He travels well in the car and, although scared at the vets, he does remains calm.
In seeking his forever home, Timmy would be better suited to a quiet, calm home where someone is home for most of the day. He will certainly need understanding, patience, and love.
He will need someone to show him that humans can be kind. He will need someone to take things at his pace, with short walks to begin with to show him the world isn’t so scary.
We have no doubt that with a super special human who understands Timmy’s needs, he will flourish and that the little pocket rocket that is hiding inside will slowly emerge.
