Toni is only a year old male Labrador Cross and has been through a lot in his short life. We have taken him on after another rescue brought him over from Romania and he was a very scared boy when he initially came to us. He is a crossbreed and is being fostered in Bicester, Oxon. Once he trusts you Toni just wants to play. He is a big, bouncy puppy and loves everyone. He does get scared of smaller children so we recommend any children in the home should be eight and over and dog savvy. He is initially cautious with people and takes a little while to make friends but once he has, he will reward you with cuddles and kisses.

He is a bit dopey and wants to play with all over dogs that he meets. When they get fed up with him he doesn’t always read their warning signs and ends up getting himself into trouble! Toni would be happier living with another similar sized dog. He ignores the cats in his foster home so will be able to live with them. Toni is making huge progress and is now housetrained in his foster home. He is happy to be left but does need to be crated. When he has the run of the house he gives in to his mischievous puppy side and destroys everything in his reach!
Toni does need to continue his lead training as he does pull a bit. He enjoys his walks though and is an active boy so will need regular exercise. He is great in the car and travels well. At the vets he was a bit unsure to start with but soon settled. We are looking for an active home for Toni where someone is at home for most of the day. He can live with other dogs, cats and sensible children over 8. A home willing to work on his socialisation and give him further training is a must as he is still a puppy and is desperate to learn.
Toni is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet Toni in his foster home in Bicester, Oxon.
