The beautiful Wahla Bear is a 9-year old long-haired Chihuahua who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. He came into rescue when his owner fell ill, along with Lulu, Tigger and India (now rehomed). He has a Grade 3 heart murmur but is not on any medication and only has sight in one eye. Unfortunately, surgery in the remaining good eye is not possible as it does have long-term damage. He is not currently on medication for either of these issues.

Wahla loves going out on walks and is very good on the lead. Wahla gets on with most other dogs although can be less tolerant of younger dogs or very active dogs. Wahla shows a very keen interest in cats around his foster home.
Wahla can be a bit nervous to start with but once he knows you loves he loves nothing more than cuddles and tummy tickles. He is looking for a quiet home with no young children although we may consider older children or teenagers. Wahla is a quiet boy who is no trouble at all in his foster home. He adores belly rubs and evening lap time! He likes to sleep on the bottom of the bed at night and will follow you around all day. He doesn’t mind being left for a short while.
We are looking for a home where he can potter and have a quiet life with plenty of cuddles and, of course, regular grooming! Wahla is neutered, microchipped, up to date with his vaccinations and flea/worming treatment and potential adopters will be expected to visit him in his foster home in RCT, South Wales.
